Welcome to our Queen's Sapphire Jubiliee section on iChild!

2017 marked Queen Elizabeth II's Sapphire Jubilee, celebrating 65 years on the throne. She is the first ever British monarch to celebrate a sapphire jubilee.

The Queen came to the throne on 6th February 1952 and her coronation took place at Westminster Abbey on 2nd June 1953. The Queen's Diamond Jubilee was celebrated on 4th June 2012 to mark 60 years of her reign. Children can join in the celebrations with our Sapphire Jubilee activities below!
