Welcome to our Imbolc section on iChild!

Imbolc is a Pagan festival which is celebrated on 2nd February and marks the beginning of the farming year.

Rituals include lighting fires to warm up the sun and ensure a good harvest. Other rituals include poetry reading, telling stories and making candles. This celebration coincides with the Christian festival of Candlemas.
