Welcome to our Eid al-Adha section on iChild!

The celebrations will begin on 17th June 2024 and on 6th June 2025.

Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice, also known as the Greater Eid) remembers the prophet Ibrahim's readiness to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah. It is celebrated at the end of the Hajj. The story of Ibrahim, or Abraham, is also in the Jewish Torah and the Christian Old Testament.
