Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday/Lent)

Welcome to our Pancake Day/Lent section on iChild!

Pancake Day, also known as Shrove Tuesday, is the last day before the Christian period of Lent. Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before Easter Sunday, and is one of the moveable feasts in the Church calendar.

Shrove Tuesday is celebrated on 13th February 2024 and 4th March 2025.
