This Christian Feast Day is celebrated on 26th May.

Augustine was sent to England by Pope Gregory the Great as a missionary bishop. He arrived in Kent in 597, and his aim was to spread teachings of the Christian Faith. Augustine was made Archbishop of England and died in Canterbury in approximately 605AD.
