Welcome to our Yule section on iChild!

Yule is an ancient Pagan festival. It is celebrated on 21st December in honour of the Winter Solstice, which is the shortest day in the Northern hemisphere.

Pagans believe that the sunchild is reborn on this day, as from now on every day gets longer until the Summer Solstice on 21st June. Many of our Christmas traditions actually have their roots in old Pagan customs.
