Vesak (Buddha Day)

Welcome to our Vesak section on iChild!

This Buddhist festival is celebrated on 22nd May 2024 and on 12th May 2025.

Vesak is a celebration of the teachings of the Buddha. Buddha taught his followers that they live on earth until they become good enough to reach a state of perfect peace called Nirvana. The religion Buddhism is based on the teachings of the Buddha.
