Welcome to our Kathina Day section on iChild!

This is a Buddhist Festival, celebrated on 5th November every year.

Kathina Day celebrates the end of the three month long rainy season, and monks are presented with new robes. This festival reminds Buddhists about the importance of generosity and giving.
