Welcome to our Ascension Day section on iChild!

This Christian Festival is celebrated on 9th May 2024 and 21st May 2025.

Ascension Day commemorates the ascension of Christ into Heaven, and occurs on the Thursday 40 days after Easter. For many Christians, Ascension Day's meaning provides a sense of hope that the glorious and triumphant return of Christ is near.
