Welcome to our Science section for Year 3

These science resources feature a unit of work to teach children about rocks. The resource on famous scientists features the iconic Mary Anning, and includes an interview with the current Curator, Fossil Fish from the Natural History Museum.

The resources include PDF files, which offer teacher notes, as well as keywords, a selection of worksheets and an index for the accompanying PowerPoint presentation. These editable PowerPoint presentations display the lesson content to the classroom.
