Litha
Welcome to our Litha section on iChild!
This Pagan festival celebrates the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.
Litha is a time to rejoice in life and growth. Pagans also acknowledge that the sun will now begin to decline towards winter as it continues on its yearly cycle. Pagans see summer beginning at the festival of Beltane, which is why Litha is also called Midsummer.
