GoldNon-fiction: Jasper Space Dog
This resource has been produced in collaboration with the National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE). The Teaching Sequence for Writin is still the recommended approach to the teaching of reading and writing.
Tying in with the fiction resource, Jasper Space Dog by Hilary Robinson, the resource features space and the lunar landings.
This resource can be easily adapted to the needs of your class, and can cover several lessons. It includes: a PDF file, which indexes the accompanying PowerPoint, the PowerPoint presentation (the main body of the resource) and Word document worksheets, which you can edit if you choose.

Problem printing landscape resources?

If your browser is Google Chrome, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the resource to be printed portrait, cutting off some of the content. In this case, a solution is to right click on the activity, save it and print from your saved area.
If your browser is Firefox, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the resources to be reduced to fit the top half of a portrait page. In that case, a solution is to either to save the resource, as above, or manually set your printer to landscape.
