GoldLascars East India Company Historical Story
Historical events rarely happen in isolation. For children to understand the history of the Lascars, it helps to understand the historical climate of the time. The Lascars' story is intertwined with that of the East India Company. We refer to England in this story (rather than Britain) because most of the events took place before the union with Scotland.
