Gold5a: Early Georgians
This Early Georgians teaching resource is part of a series of Black British History lessons written by Professor David Olusoga and his sister Dr Yinka Olusoga. Focusing on the period of 1714 - 1776, we look at how the relationship between Britain and its American and West Indian colonies, helped to create a population of Black Georgians, who mostly lived in London. We also examine legal cases which tested whether slavery was something that could happen in Britain as well as the colonies.

Problem printing landscape resources?

If your browser is Google Chrome, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the resource to be printed portrait, cutting off some of the content. In this case, a solution is to right click on the activity, save it and print from your saved area.
If your browser is Firefox, there appears to be a temporary bug which causes the resources to be reduced to fit the top half of a portrait page. In that case, a solution is to either to save the resource, as above, or manually set your printer to landscape.
